For me, painting is the fixation of the elusive. Consolation and ecstasy as well as a large field for the battle. Between the desired and the actual. My own inner existential conflict. It’s about feelings and sensations, pain and fixation of the winning spirit over it. This is a deep personal, intimate experience that finds a response in people who have experienced something similar.
